M@ster(s) of the Idols at AFA14

Aside from their Anisong appearance, Producers from all over the region will be delighted to find three of the twelve (Thirteen if you count Ricchan) from the most successful idol anime series of the years The Idolm@ster, gracing Anime Festival Asia 2014!

So many seiyuu appearances! So many featured anime series!

I can’t wait for the day in less than a month’s time and step onto my steel bird heading to the city of the Lion, in my annual AFA pilgrimage!

Featured Anime: The Idolm@ster

Introduction:

In 2011, the universe of the game was reproduced in the TV anime.

In January 2014, the movie-length continuation of the anime “THE IDOLM@STER MOVIE TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SPARKLE” was released.

In the coming January of 2015, the new anime based on “THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS” will begin! The anime focuses on the characters of the idols, fleshing out their personalities and bringing them closer to the viewer, making the anime a must-watch.

Synopsis:

13 girls, each with a different personality, are under the management of entertainment company “765 Production”.

It is a story depicting each girl working hard to grow and achieve their own dreams through their activities.

Dream big! The aim is to be a Top Idol!

Numakura Manami

Profile:

Born 15 April in Kanagawa Prefecture. She has AB Blood type and is an Aries.

For THE IDOLM@STER, she voices Hibiki Ganaha.

Her interests and special skills include reading, high endurance and rolling her tongue.

She has credits in RAIL WARS! (Aoi Sakurai), Hanayamata (Machi Tokiya), Aikatsu! -Aidoru Katsudo- (Yurika Endo) and more.

Imai Asami

Profile:

Born 16 May in Yamaguchi Prefecture. She is a Taurus with Type O blood type.

For THE IDOLM@STER, she voices Chihaya Kisaragi.

She has credits in Noragami (Tomone / Mayu), BLAZBLUE (Yayoi Tsubaki), STEINS;GATE (Kurisu Makise) and more!

In games, she has also voiced Ayumi Shinozaki in “Corpse Party”. She is active in a variety of genres, including as the lead personality on the radio show “Asami Imai’s Singer Song Gamer, and more.
