So, the officials finally decided to unveil yesterday night, the line-up for this year’s C3 Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2019’s I Love Anisong concert~!
And what an incredible list of artistes to boot!
Looks like fans this year will be high in tension for some Giri-giri Ai~! (more…)
A teaser and a countdown has begun on the official site for C3 Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2019!
Apparently this year’s event theme is about airways and passports.
From the official words:
#C3AFASG19 Let’s kick off a new decade of C3AFA Singapore 2019 — your passport to all things J-culture! See you at the Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre from 29th November to 1st December 2019. More details to be revealed soon — stay tuned!
Unfortunately, I am going to skip the trip to Singapore this year in favour of visiting the Land of the Rising Sun just a couple of weeks prior to the commencement of C3AFA. Let’s hope my trip will be exciting. ^_^
Although PAM has been cancelled/postponed to the coming year, it seems it has been replaced with a new event, with the venue shifted to Kuala Lumpur this time around…
Announced last weekend, the I Love Anisong Matsuri Malaysia 2019 will happen this June, and judging from the title itself, we can probably assume that it will be more focused upon concert this time around, although currently the officials are accepting applications for their Creator’s Hub corner. There will be exhibitions as well, I suppose…
Unfortunately, I can neither attend this event, nor can I C3AFA2019, due to a high probability I’ll catch a tour to Japan at the end of the year. It is an invitation from a close friend of mine for decades.
While still in the planning stage, I would like to preserve my funds for the big trip itself, as it’s been my raison d’être to finally visit the Land of the Rising Sun…
In an unfortunately announcement, it seems that Penang Anime Matsuri 2019 has been
Even the affiliated logo on AFA’s official site has been removed…
Many speculated that this is due to the negative pressure from the recent incident involving a local immigration raid at a ACG event. However the official assures us that the management has always been diligent and abide by the law.
The postponement is actually to coincide with the Experience Penang Year which falls on the year 2020. Expect a much bigger excitement than previous years!
Even as I was thinking when will SOZO unveil this year’s date for Anime Festival Asia related events, they finally officially announced the said dates for all their affiliated events yesterday at the last day of the 2nd Moon…
As per annually, I’ll be attending only two of the said events: PAM19 and C3AFASG2019.
Curiously, there seems to be a Penang eSport Festival on the 7th and 8th of September as well, the first of its kind this year! Hmmm… should I attend that as well?
