In a month’s time, Penang Anime Matsuri 2016 will begin, with it comes a trio of anime movies to be screened during the course of the event!

These movies will be screened within the auditorium in Dewan Sri Pinang, the same area that will be used for the stage events during the two days. =w=

The Disappearance of Conan Edogawa: The Worst Two Days in History

Synopsis: This feature is the fifth TV Special for Detective Conan. This special echoes to one hand the famous case of the disappearance of Agatha Christie in 1926, and director Kenji Uchida has worked with Gosho Aoyama to achieve a crossover that introduces Conan Edogawa and the various characters in the story of his famous film Kagi Dorobo no Method of 2012.

Synopsis: Humanity has lost much of its developed land due to global warming in the first half of the 21st century. Then, a “Fleet of Fog” loaded with super weapons suddenly appears all over the world. Without the ability to withstand this fleet, humanity was defeated and could no longer travel the seas. 17 years after the devastating naval war, Gunzou Chihaya and his crewmates somehow commandeer a “Fleet of Fog” submarine named I401. Synopsis: Protagonist Gunzo Chihaya and his friends, with the help of renegade Fog A.Is, head towards the United States to present blueprints for a weapon that will turn the tides of war in humanity’s favour. It is easier said than done because Gunzo and the rest of Arpeggio’s crew have gotten the attention of the mysterious Admirality Code. Now they must face a new Fleet of Fog threat known as “Fog Student Council,” who are mental models dressed like high school girls. The Fog Student Council preaches that Earth’s morals must correspond to the Fog’s morals.
