The never-ending version-ups of my beloved Tama-chan continues, with several more modifications as well as newly made replacements adorn this lovely foxy miko, further enhancing her resemblance to her original concept art of Fate/Extra, the PSP JRPG of whence she originally appeared in…
During the events of the Saint Valentine’s, Tama-chan unfortunately had an uncomfortable staining, causing her to undergo intense treatment for the following couple of months… orz
She’s feeling much better now, with most of those staining gone and/or getting milder you can barely notice them now…
「Welcome to the special End-of-Year and Happy New Year special programme!」
「この番組は、ユナモンご主人様とオタクールチャーの坂、ご覧のスポンサーの提供でお送りします… ^0^ 」
Continuing from earlier post on my experience in Comic Fiesta 2013, this time let’s have a brief view on the wonderful girls and boys of the doll variety.
There are a number of them turning up during the event, many tagged along with their visiting parents.
Of course Tama-chan paid a visit to the halls too, although only for Day 01.
She stayed back to guard our hotel room for the next day due to severe fatigue.
Day 24th of the 12th Moon, otherwise known as
the KFC Day Christmas Eve, is a sacred night for them love birds and families.
And of course rori and shota anticipating gifts from the ho-ho-ho-old fat man in red :3c
Celebrating Tama-chan’s 3rd X’mas, Tama-chan will of course dedicated Tama-chan’s self towards the happiness of ご主人様.
Anime Festival Asia 2013 maybe over, but there’s still a social assembly left to attend on the day after… the usual Post AFA gathering of Culture Japan Night.
Held at the Kallang Theatre near the Stadium MRT station identical to last year, it was more of a Culture Japan Noon as the event started at roughly 1500 hours until 2000 hours of the day.
In a few more days, I’ll catch a flight down south for the annual pilgrimage.
Of course Tama-chan will accompany me in my trip, she’ll bring along her new outfit just in time for the event too.
As a follow-up to yesterday’s gallery of them various figure displays in Culture Japan Convention, I’ve mentioned about figures owners sharing the display booth with us doll owners of musume of any genre and sizes, no?
Furthermore, the space is titled Dolls and Figures Booth… XDc Therefore, let’s have a look at them lovelies gracing the event!
For stage events and commercial booths and shenanigans, please refer to the post-con report posted a couple of nights ago… :3c
While limited in numbers, dolls do take up a large portion of the display space (Usually 60 cm in height) when compared to your average scaled figures and such (Except Three-A’s Metal Gear REX. That behemoth is enormous!).
Due to a friend’s (Of college years) wedding dinner falling on the same day, I was denied my chance to attend the Bon Odori event last year.
Not so this time around, as I’ve made sure I’m free this year to join the matsuri, alongside Tama-chan of course. :Dc
Last weekend, we’ve arrived at the site at an earlier time to avoid the incoming massive throng of curious visitors. Took Tama-chan for a little walk along the coast.
Yes. The Bon Odori Matsuri is held at Padang Kota aka Old Gurney Drive, a coastal area with ship and ferry docks nearby and just passed the Banking area.
It’s barely several days after the dawn of a new Lunar Year, but the 14th day of the 2nd moon is here once again!
Give Your Big Bro Chocolate Day Saint Valentine’s Day is the very day when girls of all ages prepare chocolates as a gift to their loved ones (Well at least in Japan, everywhere else it’s the guy’s responsibility to dish out hard earned monies on expensive romantic dinners. ^^;)!!
The end of the Year of the Dragon is nigh!
On the night before the Reunion Dinner on the Eve of the Lunar New Year, local InnovaDDoushi once again gathered for trash talks and such… XDc
Once again the chosen rendezvous point is the Coob Coffee Club at Komtar Walk…
And of course Tama-chan tags along too. ^~^
Thanks to the smooth negotiations between Volks and a fellow InnovaDDoushi, the submission for the Worldwide Dollfie Dream® Photobook is now underway…
The collection will basically feature over a hundred beautiful Dollfie Dream picchus of various InnovaDDoushi from all parts of the globe, fully endorsed by the doll maker giant Volks themselves! ^~^
I don’t usually celebrate my Coming-to-Earth Day…
But when I do it’s not my plan at all since I always forgot about the day itself every year!
Ooooh~! Tadaima, Tama-chan!
When Danny-san announced the news some weeks earlier, it was an incredible surprise to all of us Islanders that he’s going to hold a CJN on our island!
To be held in the St. Joseph’s Novitiate at the Gurney Paragon, Penang, the gathering will begin at a rather odd hour: 1300 – 1800 on a Saturday (Thus Culture Japan Noon instead of Culture Japan Night… XDc)… 0_0
For the uninitiated, St. Jo’s is a heritage building made anew via reconstruction, and is now a hub for community events with rotsa restaurants surrounding it…
Another year ends, and another new year takes its place!
Tama-chan and Kotama-chan, readying themselves by the balcony of my den, eagerly awaits the obligatory fireworks at the strike of 0000 in the mid night…
The calm before the
storm fireworks! ^_~
Just a few minutes left until the btoom! ^0^
A couple of nights before the end of the old year,
in celebration of surviving the Mayan Apocalypse, once again I along with local InnovaDDoushi gathered at Coob Coffee Club for a small Doll Meet to allow our musume a breather after a long year of work… ^_~
I was somewhat late for the meetup time, but the rest of the group were not there when I reached the destination… ^o^;;;
It’s that time of the year again, the magical period when innocent and pure children awaits their promised presents from the man in red.
Altho the actual day itself falls on the day after tomorrow, it is the Eve (which is… today!) that everyone’s excited about with feast-ful gatherings, family reunions, lovers intimacy and such… XDc
A small fact: today is also unofficially known as KFC Day to the Japanese as a majority of them will opt to Zerg-rush their nearby outlets for bucketful of finger lickin’ fried chickens (Turkeys are too expensive to afford there, same situation where I live… ^_~).
To avoid confusion to the gigantic Tama-chan, from now on I shall dub this Caster aka Tamamo no Mae, Kotama-chan! XDc
Arrived just a week after the trip to the South, yet another upgrade has been installed onto Tama-chan to increase her overall beauty! ^~^
Well at least for most of them public. Enthusiastic comrades will not let the joy die down so easily… XDc
In memories of a certain Dollfie Dream… Not! XDc
Many thanks to Yukino-chan’s papa, Tama-chan was invited to one of the biggest gathering of all her kind she’d ever experienced.
This weekend, I’ll once again travel down South for my annual pilgrimage to the island of the Fishy Lion for AFA12!!
Tama-chan was so restless for the past few days hopping around the room in excitement while I’m busy packing up for our trip. XDc
