A Grand Quest in the 4th Moon

After the AR shooter spoof from last year, DW once again upped their antics this 1st of April by releasing yet another mini game or sort, this time in the form of a Dragon Quest/Final Fantasy like JRPG, complete with retro sprite graphics and 8-bit music.

The special app can be downloaded for a 1-day only fun, available to both the Android and iOSXDc

The overall graphics and interface sure brings back a lot of childhood memories, which might miss the point to the younger Secondaries and Tertiaries of the mobage… :P

Here’s my initial attempt at trying out the game itself.

No worries, I get much better at it after this. XDc

The premise is pretty simple: defeat wild Servants to level up and to get rare drops, upgrade your equipment so you can defeat higher level Servants, repeat until you collect them all in your Servapedia. XDc

Unfortunately today falls on a working day so I don’t have much spare time to actually complete this mini game. And from the looks of it, we don’t get Servant cards in Riyo style like earlier years…

For those who can, do complete this just for the sake of it.

  1. I’m amazed, I have to admit. Rarely do I come across a blog that’s both equally educative and entertaining, and without a doubt, you’ve hit the nail on the head. The issue is something not enough folks are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy I came across this during my search for something relating to this.|
