As the fiery rooster makes its exit, the Terran canine hounding towards a new lunatic year!
And a very happy Lunar New Year greeting from everyone’s favourite Rider, Astolfo!
For the uninitiated and those unfamiliar with the language, in the Chinese Fate community, Astolfo is given a pet name and most affectionately referred to as 阿福. The character 福 itself means good fortune. The term 福从天降 from the post title means “fortune falls from the sky” literally, which is translated as “may good fortune be blessed upon thee”.
Thus the pun with the trap above. XDc
The new year celebrates the Year of the Dog, so it’s no wonder the Hound of Ulster is getting excited for the year ahead…
Foxes are technically a part of the canine family as well, so this year is also the Year of the Fox?
No, not you… Faker! >w<
While most Servants in my Chaldea are not dressed for the occasion, there are a couple of exceptions…
And both of them look lip-smacking gorgeous in their outfits.
Incidentally, random roll on the 1st day of the Lunar New Year yields me yet another copy of Orion…
Wait a minute… The true Servant is actually Artemis, the Goddess of the Moon. Today is the Lunar New Year. Coincidence?
Once again, a very happy Lunar New Year to those celebrating.
Have fun with your reunions and tasty foods!
