Various Booths at AFA16, Part 3
Continuing from Part 2, here are more booths at Anime Festival Asia 2016…
Sword Art Online
SAO is surprisingly popular internationally, that it has been featured in AFA for many years in a row now, a special booth featuring many concept arts and various displays of official materials has been erected just for this occasion.
There is even a special bird-cage (Featured in the Alheim Online A.K.A. ALO arc where Titania!Asuna has been held captive in) built inside the booth for visitors to selfie with.
The official cosplayer for SAO, Enako, appears in the cage at various times during the 3-day event so visitors and fans alike can take photos of her
being tied up within (Her photo will be shown in the cosplay post later)…
Sony pushes their Android app featuring an advanced A.I. of Saekano’s Main Heroine Kato Megumi, who can respond to your voice as well as becoming your assistant managing your alarms, schedules and an assortment of other things.
You can try out the beta version here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mezamane.megumi&hl=en
Waku Waku Japan
A surprise of the event, Waku Waku Japan managed to bring over the current sensation Pikotaro-san, of which he is famed for his antics on the strangely addictive PPAP (Pen Pineapple Apple Pen).
Once again Wargaming.net is here top promote their online games, World of Warships and World of Tanks, which have collaboration with the anime series Arpeggio of Blue Steel and Girls Und Panzer respectively…
Wake Up, Miyagi!
Other Random Stuff
A variety of figures and stuff on display all over the exhibition halls, found at various sales booths…
Random Wallpaper Posters
I forgot which booth does these posters go to, but still find it interesting enough to include them into my album…
Anisong Artiste Dedication
Some congratulatory flower bouquets for the Anisong artiste, given by dedicated fans.
They were situated just outside the entrance to the main stage, which doubles up as concert hall for the 3 nights.
Dollfie Dream Attendees
Some Dollfie Dreams I encountered during my time within the exhibition halls.
Coming up in my next post: Standees!
