The Idolm@ster, Culture Japan and Volks of AFA14
The Idolm@ster is one of the main exhibitor in this event, spreading its idol love to the masses.
Consists of The Idolm@ster, Million Live! and Cinderella Girls, the franchise has captivated Producers (Fans of the series are named as such) all over the world in a titanic wave. w
Do note that Cinderella Girls anime will début by next year as well, surely bringing in more Producers to the already expansive fan base!
Aside from the many merchandise scattered around the booth and for sale, loads and loads of them idol figures were on display as well!
A lone Haruka-san rested under Amami Haruka’s standee…
Please don’t add water. :3c
Elsewhere, Culture Japan is back with more of its flagship mascot, Suenaga Mirai’s merchandise.
This year tho, Smart Dolls were the main attraction of the booth.
Only a few were available for sale during AFA tho, and all of them were cleared in just 20 minutes after opening hour on Day 1!
I intend to get a Smart Doll too, but will wait for next year’s AFA for 003 Chitose AKA whitehairloli.jpg instead. w
Other merchandise like the T-Shirts and posters were available on site.
Meanwhile at the other end of the hall, an unexpected exhibitor known for their 60cm Dollfie Dreams, Volks finally recognised the rising popularity of its dolls and decided to pay a visit this year to AFA!
All of Volks’s past releases of Dollfie Dreams are usually via lottery system (Sometimes Pre-Order Project just like the Macross Frontier x Dollfie Dream) at various Dolpa in Japan, and will usually ended up at sky-rocketing prices via immoral scalpers in the after-market.
Good of them to bring several limited Dollfie Dreams along for sale at AFA, including Saber (Fate/Extra), Saber Alter 2.0, Hatsune Miku, Yuuki Asuna, Kujikawa Rise, Sakuya, Sakuya Mode: Crimson, M.O.M.O. and KOS-MOS Ver. 4.
Volks is known for their other stuff as well, such as the mecha figures of Five Star Stories.
And bishoujo figures too!
Soon: The doujinshi area and the festive Niconico Kunikaigi!
