Event Days: Miniaturisation of a Comic Market
Rose from slumber very early in the morning and taking a ride in our chartered bus, me and the rest of my trip mates were transported to our destination, effectively eliminating the disastrous experience I had the day before.
Even though there’s still some time away from the opening, there were already a gathering of human hordes in and around the building. www
I’ve managed to sneak into the halls before the actual opening hours. This is the only time my lens isn’t hindered by the crowds so I can take the time to line up my shots to a degree. :3c
The League of Legends stage first came into sight after entering the halls. While it is empty now, it will soon be filled with gamers and audience for the regional LOL tournament held for the next two days.
Lovely foxy Ahri illus BTW.
Even before the event begins, many eager comrades with Early Bird tix already conquered the barricaded waiting area inside the hall, waiting to be released into the wild.
The whole scene when the event finally starts really screams Zerg Rush, as the organiser remove the last obstacle between the visitors and the event floor.
A few of the lovely artworks on mascot of Comic Fiesta at the waiting area.
I think these were featured during the event’s 100-day countdown when each piece was revealed everyday until the start of the event itself.
The Culture Japan booth.
Almost all the region’s (And around the world!) conventions will always have this as part of their guest/exhibitor. :3c
Caught the big man taking shots at his girl. XDc
Let’s not forget Danny-san’s primary project of late: his upcoming 1/3 Smart Doll.
The manual version will be available next Spring at approximately RM 2,000…
The Good Smile Company booth. On display are many of their recent releases.
Humans, humans everywhere. D:
Curious public, eager enthusiasts, comrades, cosplayers, businessmen, students,
pickpockets… All genders of various professions and identities are here to enjoy the event, no matter their appearance, size or age.
Stumbled upon a stray Eevee hiding on her trainer’s cap while roaming at the Basic Booth area. Kawaii desu ne. =w=
Also met a couple of flat rori at one of the walkways. <3
There’s a reason Comic Fiesta has been referred to as a Mini Comiket: The long rows of booth tables, tons of artworks/merchandise/plushies/doujins for sale, cosplay bling-blings, etc.
And of course the crowd. THEM sardine-packed crowds. >,<
One of the only few doujin circle that takes the lead in bringing the Kantai Collection to the local scene…
Too bad their Kongou badges sold out the first thing in the morning of Day 01, else I might get one for myself…
More lovely artworks and doujin merchandise on sale everywhere.
Several posters of StarCraft II and Defence of the Ancients (DotA) fame directly from Blizzard Entertainment, signed by them producers of the game studio itself!
Seems only obtainable through on site live auction though… :/
I don’t always pay a visit to the Stage area, but when I do, it’s totally packed with a throng of humans. =w=
Next up will be the dolls scattered around the venue!
