Anime Festival Asia 2013 maybe over, but there’s still a social assembly left to attend on the day after… the usual Post AFA gathering of Culture Japan Night.
Held at the Kallang Theatre near the Stadium MRT station identical to last year, it was more of a Culture Japan Noon as the event started at roughly 1500 hours until 2000 hours of the day.
As a follow-up to yesterday’s gallery of them various figure displays in Culture Japan Convention, I’ve mentioned about figures owners sharing the display booth with us doll owners of musume of any genre and sizes, no?
Furthermore, the space is titled Dolls and Figures Booth… XDc Therefore, let’s have a look at them lovelies gracing the event!
For stage events and commercial booths and shenanigans, please refer to the post-con report posted a couple of nights ago… :3c
While limited in numbers, dolls do take up a large portion of the display space (Usually 60 cm in height) when compared to your average scaled figures and such (Except Three-A’s Metal Gear REX. That behemoth is enormous!).
Due to a friend’s (Of college years) wedding dinner falling on the same day, I was denied my chance to attend the Bon Odori event last year.
Not so this time around, as I’ve made sure I’m free this year to join the matsuri, alongside Tama-chan of course. :Dc
Last weekend, we’ve arrived at the site at an earlier time to avoid the incoming massive throng of curious visitors. Took Tama-chan for a little walk along the coast.
Yes. The Bon Odori Matsuri is held at Padang Kota aka Old Gurney Drive, a coastal area with ship and ferry docks nearby and just passed the Banking area.
If you’ve played the latest PSP game Fate/Extra CCC, you’ll know that our lovely foxy Caster has the ability to raid her closet for several different kinds of outfits, of which you can had her wear during her battle with the random dungeon ENEMIES and various bosses. www
Not to be outdone by her digital self, Tama-chan requested my “assistance” in acquiring her some of them outfits akin to the game itself.
1st in line is this mizugi since well, it’s Summer time! ^_~
A local ACG event was held during the last weekend, spanning across the 25th and 26th of May. ^_^
Dubbed the Moe-Party Cosplay Workshop III, it’s a small workshop event or something, at least according to my own pal for many years, Donny Choo-san!
Incidentally, it was he who had invited me over as I wasn’t aware of the event itself. The surprise when I was told of it dat time! 0_0
Anyway due to strict schedule I was only be able to attend Day 02 of the event, missing all the on-stage fun on Day 01…
Ever since the night before the Dragon Day, Tama-chan has barely been genki following the passing Moons, lying in a state of utmost inactivity lethargy.
Don’t be alarmed tho Tama-chan’s not in harm’s way, actually her Master was in the midst of readying her for several minor operations to further enhance her aesthetics. ^_~
For this grand project, many acquisitions were made from the passing Moons, most notably from Taobao (A Chinese equivalent of e
vilBay/Yahoo! Japan Auctions) by using a proxy service called My Parcel Store…
Amongst the materials acquired are: Volks Shapely L Bust, Wersaze Wrist Joint, Wersaze Yawashiri, Cool Cat Fortified Aluminium Alloy Neck Joint, Miruya Wig and Moe-Castle’s Miko Outfit (Not shown here).
I am the Knightess of my Pink Republic
Animanga is my passion, figure is my raison d’être
I have created over a thousand excuses
Not to get a Dollfie, yet to no avail
Have withstood pain to cancel many pre-orders
Yet those sacrifices will never help much
So as I plan, Unlimited Instalment Works!
Conceived roughly a trio of Earth cycles ago, it wasn’t after several passing seasons later before the actual summoning is complete.
It’s barely several days after the dawn of a new Lunar Year, but the 14th day of the 2nd moon is here once again!
Give Your Big Bro Chocolate Day Saint Valentine’s Day is the very day when girls of all ages prepare chocolates as a gift to their loved ones (Well at least in Japan, everywhere else it’s the guy’s responsibility to dish out hard earned monies on expensive romantic dinners. ^^;)!!
I don’t usually celebrate my Coming-to-Earth Day…
But when I do it’s not my plan at all since I always forgot about the day itself every year!
Ooooh~! Tadaima, Tama-chan!
Another year ends, and another new year takes its place!
Tama-chan and Kotama-chan, readying themselves by the balcony of my den, eagerly awaits the obligatory fireworks at the strike of 0000 in the mid night…
The calm before the
storm fireworks! ^_~
Just a few minutes left until the btoom! ^0^
It’s that time of the year again, the magical period when innocent and pure children awaits their promised presents from the man in red.
Altho the actual day itself falls on the day after tomorrow, it is the Eve (which is… today!) that everyone’s excited about with feast-ful gatherings, family reunions, lovers intimacy and such… XDc
A small fact: today is also unofficially known as KFC Day to the Japanese as a majority of them will opt to Zerg-rush their nearby outlets for bucketful of finger lickin’ fried chickens (Turkeys are too expensive to afford there, same situation where I live… ^_~).
In memories of a certain Dollfie Dream… Not! XDc
Many thanks to Yukino-chan’s papa, Tama-chan was invited to one of the biggest gathering of all her kind she’d ever experienced.
Once again, Danny Choo-san of Culture:Japan fame will organise a special after AFA gathering for like-minded comrades to interact and have fun with one another, just like how Tama-chan had fun during last year‘s AKB48 night and earlier mid year‘s Pavilion gathering… ^~^
Held in the Orchid Room of Kallang Theatre, not bad a choice for a venue this time as earlier CJNs are way too crowded at time…:3c
For the upcoming AFA12, the gorgeous musume-tachi of various InnovaDDoushi will once again grace the exhibition halls in display to curious and enthusiastic visitors!
On last count according to the organisers, there’ll be more than a hundred of confirmed attendance of them musume-tachi! 0_0
Unveiled during the September issue of Volks News, which incidentally doubled up as the 50th Volume since its publication, there will be an event this coming 20th… ^_~
Expect rotsa InnovaDDoushi and campers to fight against one another for a chance to land some of these raburi raburi merchandise onto their musume’s hands… :3c
Since last Saturday, InnovaDDo with subscription to Volks News infozine has been flooding the interwebs with discussions and speculations of the upcoming outfits and new DD related items from the latest September issue of Volks News Vol. 50. ^_~
Seems like these lovely merchandise will be available during the Tenshi no Sumika Fair 2012/Cool Kyoto 2012 event…
Tama-chan has set Tama-chan’s eyes upon a single pinkish outfit that Tama-chan must get Tama-chan’s hands on. Tama-chan wonder if Goshujin-sama will get one for Tama-chan? :3c
Recently acquired a gadget to play with…
Proceeds to have fun in the darkness… ^o^
Arriving at my den after work, once again I caught a certain itoko ninja’d on me moe futon and
NTR’d proceed to enjoy my new Tama-chan Daki… =_=
Fast forward to early this week, the package finally reached my doorstep, much to the delight (Or not…) of Chibi-chan… =ω=
While Goshujin-sama is busy ogling at them new girls (Hhhmmpphh! >,<) in WonFes 2012 Winter (Which falls on today) using Hanako, Tama-chan will take this opportunity to do some research of her own… ^_~
By the past week, the InnovaDDo community has been bombarded with information on various new merchandise that will be made available to them and their musume on the upcoming Home Town Dolpa Kyoto 9 event in March, via the latest Volks News Vol 47 just delivered to them…
For the longest time now, well before the initiation of Unlimited Installment Works, I’d came into contact with a certain online shop that offers the service of printing your own custom dakimakura for you…
Altho it seems to me an interesting concept, I wasn’t so intrigue on the idea just yet so I dropped the idea of owning my self-made dakimakura at that time, seemingly lost and forgotten amidst many other thingies…
